My second posting to this thread (TLC482) and it was a great challenge... I had never used my embossing folder as a stencil and I love it.. I tried the wood grain folder and loved the outcome. The tone on tone color scheme just seemed to happen with the papers I had on my work space.. Sort of fun when that happens. I used INKA Gold and some tan pastels for the light shading. The broad lace is a piece from an old hair band.

This is awesome! Love that embossing and the die cuts of the birds and flowers are beautiful with this bg!! Love the ribbon too - it all ties together.

Great card - The background looks more realistic with the contrasting color. All of your embellishments are wonderful - so glad to hear you repurposed the 'ribbon.'
