It's my turn to host the Mix-Ability challenge, and this week's challenge is to use Reverse Masking on a mixed media project. There's a video on the challenge post explaining more.
I used Penny Black's "Poppy Time" stamp as my focal image - the bloom is such a great size for this technique. You can see in [http://mamadinis.blogspot.com/2014/0...king.html]this video[/url] how I used regular masking and reverse masking to complete the scene.
Mixed media work uses at least 2 different kinds of art media... I used spray inks, chalk inks, watercolor and acrylic paints, and acrylic paint markers.
More details, close-ups and links on my blog HERE.

Dina, this is stunning. I agree with Susie, it would look amazing as a large wall hanging. I really like the different patterns and the colors are beautiful. Love it.

LOL - because I didn't look at this before I added text to my poppy. On my side, it was a last-minute addition to the reverse masking I'd already done. I love the bright happy sunshiney feel to this.
