This week our teaparty honors one of our own - Joanne aka iluvscrapping. She could use all of the lovin' that we can muster...read about it here: MMTPT302 ~May 13, 2014~ Come Home Larks and Sparrow, Bloom Violets and Yarrow! by momof5sons at Splitcoaststampers
Karen's springy colors this week were the perfect palette for the story. Stamped the Scripture in Old Olive on Neenah, cut and matted with the Nesties. Highlighted the word strengthen by going over it with a distress marker. Mounted on the A2 easel card. Stamped and colored the image with Copics, matted on Olive and scored a little tab so that the panel could pop up against the easel, then repeated with the punched grass. Added the other punched elements and done. I chose to make an easel card because they are out of my comfort zone...as challenged by Judy. PT - 15
Thank you Karen and Judy for the inspiration. Thank you all so much for looking and have a peaceful day.

Your card is so pretty! An easel card is such a wonderful way to display this reminder of God's promise. Joanne will treasure this! Thanks for sharing.

I don't think I have ever made an easel card. They are out of my comfort zone also. I love the little bunnies and how you displayed the scripture. Very lovely!!

Well goodness, Marie, I'd never think that an easel card was out of your comfort zone when you come up with a fabulous creation like this. I love your little rabbit scene - it makes me think of Watership Down. And that is one of my favourite ODBD verses - but I just had to go with whatever would fit in my small frame ;-).
