TodayÂ’s Technique Challenge is to have the sentiment on top of the image. I chose to have mine on a vellum strip over the image. And for the CAS271 Challenge, we are CASEing Angela Maine. I chose THIS wedding card of the same name. I kept the wedding card theme & oval, but used pink as an accent color & used a vertical orientation instead of horizontal.
This card is pretty easy because I already had the background done. ItÂ’s a Belleek technique from TLC361 where you use a light colored ink on your embossing folder before embossing. The happy couple was stamped on white & just a touch of pink was added to the flowers. The greeting was stamped on a strip of vellum & I used a bracket border die on the top & bottom edges. I added a couple of die cut frames, my vellum greeting & that was it.
Thanks so much for looking! It's just been posted on my blog: The Write Stuff

Julie, your inked embossing is just lovely for this wedding card. I do like that you cut that vellum with the pretty die. Gorgeous card.
