This is my card for the F4A219 challenge "Wood You Like a Challenge?" - to make a project with wood somewhere on it. It can be real wood, stamped wood, or even patterned paper.
I colored a piece of thin wood sheet with Distress and Tombow markers, following the grain in the wood so the color didn't bleed. I used a gold Sharpie paint pen to trace the outline of the rings in the wood. The piece was trimmed and attached to the card front using thinned Crafter's Pick glue, then I stamped the image, using my Stamp-A-Ma-Jig to position it.
As always, thanks for looking!

Your card is stunning! I absolutely LOVE the technique you used to make the wood and the colors you chose. The scripture you used is just perfect for this card. TYFS. Karen.
