This month the teapotters are about to set up a "club house" bequested" to them. We are all contributing furniture to our new premises and I thought a quiet little spot to sit and enjoy a cup of tea from a pink porcelain cup poured from a sterling teapot would be my contribution.
I printed of the red damask recolouring it to a pink shade and inked the edges. The edge of the smaller square was framed in the punched paper. The chair, table, and tea set are a digital set "Take it easy". Everything was fussy cut and popped up. To give the chair a bit of extra dimension I took a large stylus to the back of the chair and a tiny stylus to the stripes.

LOVELY card, Elizabeth! Like the colors, patterns, chair, table, great details. The framing is pretty w/the fancy corners. Neat sentiment banner, great font.

Oh, Elizabeth, I have first dibs on THIS chair of yours - looks so comfy with the extra work you did with your stylus and I love that the tea is on the table, right next to the chair and ready to go. The HOME SWEET HOME was a delightful touch - this one is a real beauty!!

Amazing card with so many awsome details. The fringe on the chair and the little tea cup and tea pot look fab. I love the lace and colors you chose. The chair has such a 3D look. Right into my favs.

With all that fussy-cutting, it's no wonder your card took a long time to create, Elizabeth. I'd love to see the detailing with the stylus on the chair, but even on screen I can be amazed at the fringing. The wonderful vintage look of this (and especially the teapot) remind me of visiting my grandmother. When she had a stroke and ended up moving into a nursing home, we got two or three of her silver pots, but I'm not sure what happened to them over the years. And that chair looks SO comfortable.
p.s. I had great fun using some of the stamps you sent me, but as I haven't mailed the card yet I can't upload it for another couple of weeks.
