Die cuts can make for quick work and fun cards. I used a new Spellbinders Typewriter die for this quick hello.
The typewriter was cut from black cardstock. I use a metal shim when I cut dies with detail like this one, and the little key holes popped right after cutting. The sentiment was stamped on regular copy paper to mimic typing paper. After I cut the typewriter image, I used a scrap of teal colored card stock, traced the bottom half of the typewriter onto the teal and then cut it out just inside the trace lines. I love how the teal colored keys show through the typewriter key holes.
Thanks for looking!
