TodayÂ’s Ways to Use It Challenge is Trees, since today is Arbor Day. So for my card, I have a cute pair of owls in a tree.
My card is pretty simpleÂ…I started with a kraft panel, die cut a circle out and embossed it with a fine woodgrain pattern. I added two die cut chocolate brown rings around the circle. One little owl was stamped on a larger white piece & colored with Copics. I decided he needed a friend so I stamped, colored and cut out another little owl and added them both inside the circle. After I added the greeting flag, it looked sort of bare so I die cut some leaves in 2 colors of green and added them.
Thanks so much for looking! It's just been posted on my blog: The Write Stuff

This is super!! That's a great woodgrain ef (how can I justify another one when I already have two!!), and the owls peeking out of it are just so much fun.
