I am very late getting my card done, but I didn't decide until an hour ago what stamp I wanted to use. I got this almost a year ago at stamp convention and this is the first time I have used it. I used a watercolor pencil to go around the bird cage, but it does not show up real well. I think a brown pen would have worked better. Oh well, at least I finally inked up these stamps.

There are always misgivings when we use a stamp for the first time. I really like it and I think you did a fab job colouring and highlighting your image. Love it.

Look at you Miss Shirley! I love how your card came out for the pointillism challenge. What a beautiful stamp, glad you could take it out and play today. xo

I can totally see your "points" Shirleybird!! Even before I read your description I thought that you had somehow dry embossed that border of dots, the colour gives them a depth in your photo which is a lovely vintage image btw

A very intriguing image, Shirley. I'm not sure what is in the cage, but the whole image is interesting and I like the warm tones you have used with it.
