This is for IC436 and AIGA Design Archives is our inspiration site. I was inspired by the Travels with Charley found here: http://designarchives.aiga.org/#/ent...y--the-pearl/1
I was really more inspired by the story rather than the book cover. I drive 65 miles round trip every day for work and have listened to books on CDs to occupy myself on the long drive for years. One of my favorite's is John Steinbeck's Travels with Charley- In Search of America. I have listened to it a few times. Mr. Steinbeck traveled all across the United States in a truck with a customized camper built into the bed of the truck. He and his standard Poodle, Charley (I don't have a Poodle die...LOL) camped along roadsides, streams and in fields on the back roads of our country. Although the whole book was about all the interesting people he met along the way it was also filled with wonderful fun stories of Charley. He was a quite the special dog.
So for my project today I was inspired to create a wooded camp site scene with a dog. It will be a perfect guy card.
