This week's colors are Pool Party, Sahara Sand, and So Saffron, with a dessert option of an Easter theme.
Pool Party is my favorite color for Easter eggs, so I created a basket scene. I embossed the Longaberger basket onto So Sahara and fussy cut. I stamped 2 different grasses onto a white panel, and used a wonky rectangle die to cut it, and layered it on Pool Party. The eggs are oval punches, cut in half and attached with sticky tape to the back of the basket. JustRite helped me create the right size sentiment tag, and I mounted it all onto a white panel embossed with the Provo Craft Stylized Flower folder.
Thanks so much to the Color Challenge team for inviting me to play along for the month of April.
Can't wait to see what everyone creates this week!

Delightful Easter card with your basket filled with pretty eggs, Kathy. Pretty bg and bg embossing. I like how you tied a tag to the basket with twine for your sentiment.

Such a pretty Easter card! I love the basket, and I agree with Mary, the curved die you used for layering adds so much interest. Really like the embossed background layer, too!
