I unmounted my wheels, and found that the Fiskars Large Stamp Press is perfect for the jumbo wheels. I decided to play a bit and used a variety of techniques to get different ombre effects. The green and purple cards were done with markers, the orange and pinks with stamping spots, the blue with full size ink pads (just work your way down from lightest to darkest), and the green/blue/purple is from an old SU Kaleidacolor ink pad called "Celebration" (I spritzed the stamp with water after inking this one).
You have to work hard to get a good impression, and there will be bare spots, but just fill those in with a blender pen - you can use it to pull the leftover ink off the stamp and fill in any light areas.

Beautiful cards. I wonder if you could get a similar effect with the wheel still being a wheel? I think the process might be different. Thank you for sharing your process.
Thanks for allowing us to see this very creative set of cards.
