For today's IC Audrie sent us to Amber's blog, damask love. What amazing things Amber has blogged! I was inspired by her Inside Out Stationary, seen here. I spent a long time on this & am disappointed in myself. I smeared my black marker, which I should've just left off. I was trying to 'cover up' an inside mistake. I won't be sending this one off but it will serve as further inspiration.
First I cut & scored my paper. Using the die on the score line I cut the shape. Then I stamped the flower in the opening. I masked off the flower & stamped the leaves, then a secong flower & leaves. I colored the smaller flower with SU Markers, Pink Piourette, Blushing Bride & Regal Rose. Then I added Pretty in Pink to the mix for the larger flower. The centers are Old Olive. The leaves are OO plus some Always Artichoke marker. I personally like the smaller flower better. Then because the black marker smeared, I sponged around the opening. The inside view is another post. This was fun to do & I will do it again. I enjoyed browsing Amber's blog too.
Thanks for stopping by.

It's definitely a good day to have a good day! Your inspiration came out really cool - it was a good idea to ink around the window! Thank you so much for playing along today and sharing your design!
