Mary, Mary you picked a lovely color combination this week...I used 4 of the 6. Black, Sahara Sand, Pistachio Pudding, and Summer Starfruit.
I recently came across this Mark Twain quote that was new to me.
'Drag your thoughts away from your troubles,
by the ears, by the heels, or any other way,
so you can manage it'
I thought it would make a great kickin' card. The quote is mounted onto a panel of black cs. The cool green background is dry embossed with the woodgrain ef from Tim Holtz. I fussy cut out my tug of war guys, coloring them with Copics in the Summer Starfruit hue. I added a bit of paper twine for the rope they are pulling. And the brain is cut and popped above the quote.
We must not let fear overcome our thoughts and keep us stuck. I want to be pulling hard, how about you? It's a hard lesson for young people to learn, but very necessary...
Thanks for your comments, they are greatly appreciated!
