This is for the Fan Club March Gallery Theme - Sound of Music. This card is the stepped up version.
I very carefully removed Maria and the window from the minimal version. I snipped a bit of width from the sleeves and drastically shortened her hem line. I cut a V in the dress to make it look like a mini coat. Embossed silver paper was slipped underneat the coat to look like a dress.
Liquid pearls were added to the coat and shoes. This updated Maria has net tights and dyed hair. The large flower is a rough circle cut out and rolled. Half pearls added to the centre of each flower.
The background colours look different but it is just the photo taken at different time of the day with natural light.
This was heaps of fun. Thank you for looking.

Oh my goodness, Susie, this is fabulous - I really love your chic Maria - I love both versions, but your remake of the dress into a coat is genius! What dimension you've created, every little detail is beautiful. I bet you had so much fun with this, it sure looks like it!

Susie, your attention to detail is mind boggling! Her clothing with all the "buttons" and fishnet stocking are incredible along with the umbrella on the window! I LOVE seeing this and love the vintage colors! Amazing and into favorites!
