I have had to send a disturbing amount of Sympathy cards lately and my supply is depleting rapidly so when I saw this http://www.flickr.com/photos/ruthbleakley/3282287418/ it was the perfect inspiration. The stamp is from inkadinkadoo that was on 'give away' at Mikes (2 bucks..go figure) I couldn't leave it behind. My story and I am sticking to it. In keeping with my New Years Resolution the textured cardstock is another 'old' item that I need to use up from my stash and of course the linen background stamp from 2006! Yikes. I love buttons and have collected a ton of Mother of Pearl which I guard jealously but decided to part with this one because it was going to a good cause. The outside was sponged with cobblestone.

Wow - you got that image for $2 - lucky find! Feathers are so in! Your card is wonderful and love your button too. So sorry you have needed so many sympathy cards! Hugz!

Beautiful inspired card and perfect for sympathy. I'm sorry you've needed so many. On the otherhand, I'm thinking I need to get a feather stamp. This is so pretty.

I must confess I was ROTFL when I read "The stamp is from inkadinkadoo that was on 'give away' at Mikes (2 bucks..go figure)" because I read somewhere (I think Pinterest) where someone wrote...

Funny you should mention that. Mr Noofy knows exactly how much I paid just as I know how much his golf dues are and the price of that new club he just got! He has strict orders to consult with my stamp girls before selling anything..should I fall off my twig before him! LOL (Oh and it really was $2)
