Hello! Today's Inspiration Challenge is to choose an item from Ruth Bleakley's Flickr gallery.....I loved the washi tape pattern of this journal book. Though I don't own any washi tape, I created a similar pattern with designer paper, plus used eyelets (which have been in my unused eyelet stash for years!!) Thanks so much for looking! Have a very blessed day!

Oh, Angie, when I first saw this, I thought of quilting (wonder why - hehe!). And then I saw the beautiful journal that inspired you! Amazing! I just love how you've used this paper instead of washi tape! (I have none either and don't really plan to buy any.) This is perfection, and it really shows your creativity that continues to delight me! Hugs, precious friend!

Oh Angie this is so awesome!!! LOVE the strips of dp instead of washi tape and that a fun combination of patterns and the bees and sentiment! Just perfection! BTW.... your keyword is missing the 4 in the IC so it's not showing up in the Ic433 gallery. :(

Wow!! Beautiful! You totally went above and beyond on this lovely card. Love the way you wove your papers together and then used eyelets and twine to "bind" it! So clever and creative! Definitely a favorite!

We chose the same inspiration. I've thought in the past that one could really use DSP in the place of Washi Tape, so I'm glad to see you do that. I just bought some Washi tape on sale, so I went with that as I'm not really sure how to make use of it. I love how you did the eyelets and cord and that you chose a different background color from the journal. I kind of wish I had gone with a pool party type card base on mine.
