For today's IC challenge, and for yesterday's MIX60 challenge.
I went with the 4th of Audrie's thumbs, since it was a good opportunity to use Swallowtail, which DH got me for Christmas.
I have more printed numbers than words, since I used what looks like an old logarithmic table book and a Polish mathematics book, but there is actual text on the layered butterfly wings.
I gessoed two book pages and left them to dry while I made orange, cranberry and pecan muffins for our brunch ;-).
Stamped the butterfly twice and coloured with re-inkers. I painted a rough frame around the edge with brown acrylic paint, but then decided to add some gilding flakes ~ Copper Thunder picked up on my butterfly colours and also made me think of a real butterfly wing. The green layer of wings is popped up. I added some Stickles to the butterfly, and finished it off with a Verve sentiment.

The coloring on your butterfly is absolutely gorgeous -- a great combination! I'm glad I read all of your description because I didn't know if that that "frame" was paper or what. It is amazing!!! Beautiful card, Sabrina!

That butterfly is beyond amazing, Sabrina! And so beautifully colored!
And in answer to your comment on my card: I use that Script CAC constantly. It's one of my current go-to's. It just seems to work with everything. And it works sideways as a pattern. Do a BG with it and set it aside. You'll see, you'll be making a card and it suddenly seem like just the thing!
