We had a fun Teapot Tuesday story this week about Lil Missy. Lil Missy made it big in the city, her world was consumed with music, musicians, late nights and bright lights. Lil needs to wind down a bit.
Our challenge is to bring trees, rivers, anything from nature to lift her spirits. Well I have bought her a time-share holiday in the country. Lil Missy can sit on the porch and watch the moon riseÂ…Â….ah the serenity.
I made this by masking a 1” circle with a post- it note, then stamped the country scene. I sponged Tim Holtz Distress inks from top to bottom in this order :- chipped sapphire, storm sky, rusty hinge, vintage photo. I roughed up the edges and matted it on black and rust coloured cardstock.
This is probably the quickest Teapot Tuesday card I have made, but it is already Wednesday and I donÂ’t like being late. I am mailing it to Harriet in Derby, Kansas. I hope all of our cards bring some sunshine to HarrietÂ’s day.
Talking about sunshine, I brought plenty of that to the doctor’s office yesterday when I went for my annual check-up; I bet they are still laughing about it. I had a wee accident with a bottle of Dylusions Ink Spray – Pomegranate Seed to be precise. The nozzle became blocked so I undid the lid and removed the little spray thing. I reached for a pin to unblock the nozzle and as my arm moved forward I tipped the bottle over.
It is hard to believe how much damage 2 ounces of hot fluorescent pink ink can do. I wanted to jump up but I was sitting on a fabric covered chair, I also didnÂ’t want it going onto the polished floorboards. So here I sat with every muscle clenched, while this ink just slowly seeped through my clothes!!!
I grabbed as much cardstock that I could reach to blot it up (and use at a later date), but by the time I thought to do that my tummy, downstairs lady bits and thighs were covered in ink. Nothing I have tried so far has worked, the doctor said to let it wear offÂ….easy for her to say. DH gets home tomorrow nightÂ…I havenÂ’t told him yet LOL.
Ah well if thatÂ’s the worst thing to happen this week, then everything is good. Hope you all have a great week and thank you for looking.

And thanks again for another chuckle! You always make my day!

Susie, I bet you have more adventures at home than your DH does on his job! What a surprise he will have when he gets home! You've made my day with your story! I love the beautiful tree.....those branches are wonderful are so detailed and your moon shows them off so well! This rustic cabin will be a peaceful spot for a country vacation!
