This is for both the MIX59 to use a plastic bag to make a bkg, and the CC469. I was going to skip the CC since I had NOTHING in those colors. What a surprise...when I took out my acrylic paints for the MIX challenge and started playing around, I made my own somewhat close colors. I taped the pkastic bag to newspaper which I used to protect the dining room table. The incident with the "rainbow"tennis shoes has made me a little more careful these days. I put dry wall tape down, brayered with the pistacio, sponged some blue and applied lines of artichoke with a popsical stick. Smashed me paper onto it and let dry. Then I stamped the daisies and highlighted them with white gel pen. This was just the therapy I needed after a "frightful" morning of shopping with my teenage son. The only place I like to shop is a craft store ...clothes shopping gives me hives. My normally sweet natured son turns into the incredable hulk having a bad day when we need to shop (thank god this rarely needs to be done). However, we have a wedding coming up and none og his clothes fit. "Card therapy" is restoring my sanity.

Wow on your background! This turned out So beautiful and love the highlighting on those daisies!
Shopping with boys- yep, WAY worse than girls and forget shoe shopping! Takes all day with guys. They only way I got them to hurry and choose is to embarrass them to death. Hey, it worked.
