Didn't my Scan N Cut do a nice job fussy cutting that daisy? (I felt honor bound to point that out so no one would be impressed with how well I did it, since I didn't, a machine did.)
This card was all about how to frame out that focal image. I drove myself unreasonably insane deciding what to do and tried far too many things, knowing all the time I was anguishing over it that someone else would have known exactly what to do after, like, five minutes of thought. I settled on this, finally, mainly because I felt the card was starting to take over my life and I had to escape it before they carted me away.
Thanks for looking!

Robin, this is gorgeous! I don't know what scan and cut is but you sure nailed it. Your coloring is fabulous on this and you have such an eye for putting colors together. The gingham and script in the background is awesome!

I'm sure you're having fun with your Scan 'n' Cut, Robin! My husband would love one, he's been eyeing them up for about 8 years now. Well, obviously earlier incarnations.
I do exactly know what you mean about how to frame the focal image. I have a sunflower image that I find impossible to "ground" on a card - but reading your journey has helped me crystallize the idea that I don't need to use the entire stamp and maybe a framing like this would work quite well with it.
I like the vertical use of the script, too!
Card heading your way on Tuesday, since we have no postal collection on Saturday and Monday is a holiday here ;-).
