I chose octagonal dies and stamps instead of the rectangular and oval shapes of the sketch. I used the colors from yesterday (dessert was dies); to me the colors were quite tranquil. I stamped the cloisonne images on a soft mint green metallic patterned cs, also used for the bottom strip and a white textured cs (hope you can see, it's quite subtle and beautiful), both from Japan. The blues I used are too blue green for the marina mist but....oh well.

What a wonderful card, Jean! So very rich with texture, I had to spend quite a lot of time taking in all the details. It is a beauty and I am so happy to see you here in the gallery today.
