Loll Thompson has the most amazing and creative burnt copper cards in her gallery. A while back Loll so generously sent me several burnt card front size sheets. I tried using a dry embossing folder for the 1st time on this piece of copper. WOW!! What a gorgeous effect. Because of the Vine Street design the piece was perfect for using my stylus and foam pad to add a slightly accordian fold, which added even more dimension. A gorgeous effect.
I had a piece left over so I added a layer behind my flag sentiment. BTW, my craft scissors were great for cutting the copper. Also Tombow liquid glue really attaches the copper and CS together well.
I did add 2 layers of dimensionals to the die cut window layer because of the extra dimension to the copper layer.
I am so happy with the results and think Loll will be too :-) TFS the copper and your amazing talents my friend.

Beautiful card Nancy. I love embossing folder you've used - just so pretty and really perfect for the copper. Adding the gentle accordian fold is so creative ... such great dimension. Thanks for the shout out, my friend!

This is way cool, Nancy! Thanks for the description -- at first I thought the dimension I was seeing was an optical illusion. Nice to find out my eyes were NOT playing tricks on me.
