This card is for the VSN challenge, Shades of Gray
(use various shades of gray and one other color)
One of my staff members passed away last Saturday. This is a near duplicate of the card I made for her husband, that was signed by staff, board, and volunteers. Just got home from the funeral a short time ago
It is hard to tell, but the smokey slate panel is embossed and sponged with kiwi ink. The gray reflects some of our sadness, but the bold and bright green leaf reflects our belief in Eternal Life

Beautiful card. Your description is beautiful especially the part of the gray reflects some of the sadness, while that bold green leaf represents belief in Eternal Life. Thank you for those beautiful words.
I believe cards carry strong messages. I know I received solace from your card.
