This is for Marg's VSN challenge ~ Is It The Weather or Is It Us
I started with my globe, stamping it on watercolour paper with sepia and embossing with clear EP. Then I misted it with water and added reinkers to colour it. To add a cloudy effect, when it was totally dry I stamped the flourishes and embossed with white EP.
For the background I stamped the flourishes with Tumbled Glass, and the flyaway leaves from Trees Three in two greens. A late addition was stamping the vine from French Foliage round the earth and adding little Liquid Pearl flowers - probably a mistake but too late to start again.
I added white and green stitching round the edges, and then sponged with green. The tree is cut from watercolour paper and sponged with Walnut Stain and a little green at the tips. The birds were sponged with some orange colour...
