This week our little group of teapotters is sending love to Louisiana. A friend of txcrafter60 is very very ill. She is Korean so we were to bring all things Asian. Well...............having a Chinese granddaughter, I certainly have Asian stamps in my stash. My cb is So Saffron and I adhered a mat of striped vellum to that. Next I cut my decorative mat using my SB Fleur De Lis Rectangles. On that I stamped my image in Versa Mark and heat embossed using Wild Wasabi powder. I then sponged So Saffron ever so lightly over that. I then stamped my sentiment and popped the image piece up over my vellum. I really am pleased on how it turned out. Very soft and comforting I think. My inside sentiment is from Our Daily Bread and reads: I would rather walk with God in the dark than go alone in the light. I hope this brings some comfort to the recipient today. TFL ladies.

I agree it DID turn out well and very soft and peaceful. I like that die-cut...and your soft sponging around the silhouette...TFS..:0)

Oh Mary this is truly beautiful and so perfect for our Teaparty guest. I love the sentiment you have used inside the card. Everything about this is peaceful and serene, I love it.

That stamp is fabulous, Mary (and I've learnt something knew about you too!). I have a couple of books on Chinese embroidery here and it certainly reminds me of the some of the designs in the books. You've turned it into a beautifully elegant CAS card, too.
