This card was made for two challenges: CAS262 (3/3/14) make a neutral card with the dessert option to use a natural material; TLC471 challenge (3/3/14) was to use embossing on vellum.
I have been wanting to make a nest card for Easter and I was inspired to use real seed pearls when I came upon a strand lingering in my craft room from an unfinished jewelry project gone bad. The fabric trim flower was the perfect size to hold them, so a nest was born with a bit of ink scrubbed into the flower direct from the ink pad. Hard to see here but I added some clear Wink of Stella glitter pen on the tendril die cuts to add a bit of sparkle.
It was fun to make a spring card on a dreary, drizzly day, and even more fun to play in 2 challenges.
Thanks for taking the time to look at my nest card!

My eye went straight to the thumbnail and look--it's you again! Another stunner! Love the little pearl eggs in their cozy nest and again the subtle lovely colors. Favorites folder again. Thanks for sharing.
