I haven't had a lot of extra time to play lately so I stayed up to the wee hours this morning creating this card for our new Queen - Vicki (luvs2stamp2). Vicki's gallery is chock full of delights and she has a FAB avatar!
This is the card I cased: freedom by luvs2stamp2 at Splitcoaststampers
It stopped me in my tracks because I intended to make a card for my DH and he LOVES CAS, no frou frou stuff, he says. I have a feeling he would like this card a bit better if I had stayed truer to Vicki's!!!
I haven't given it to him yet so I can't share his response!
Congrats Vicki! Enjoy your reign!!!
I also wanted to play along with SNSS LOVEFEST2014F so this isn't exactly a masculine card but hopefully the touch of wood grain balances out the pink? I just LOVE the color combo for the SNSS challenge!

i love the clean look of this Angie. I think it will be a winner.
LOL....just have to say, when i first read the sentiment, i was like, WHAT???? DUST, because you're you. LMBO because I see it is the shadow from the mini clothes pin that makes the J look like a D but b/c we are "flybabies" my first thought was DUST. LOL

LOL!!! Oh dear, I wish I had realized that before I photographed it! LOL Oh well.....a flybaby I am ....always just a bit off kilter! Haha! You visited me, you know the last thing I would suggest to someone is dust unless it was please DUST my house!

Your use of the two embossing folders really works so well on this card. I never use my woodgrain ef.....yours looks so good I will have to use it more often. I love how you paired the hearts with the wood to make it more masculin.

If he doesn't like this, I can't figure out why - there's WOOD on it, for crying out loud - that says "masculine" right off the bat!! Great card for the challenge and to honor Vicki!

I totally read that sentiment as Dust because I love you too! LOL! I thought it worked and was kind of fun. Super embossing colors and hearts. DH is sure to love it. Hugz!

So funny! I DID TOOO! (read it as DUST) But it seemed to work...then of course I did a relook and can tell it is from the shadow of the clothes pin...What a totally fun and creative card. I like the way you hung one heart off the other and LOVE the whole clothes line idea. Brilliant work!
