It's nearly the end of February, and it's Vicky's last week as hostess over at CCEE Stampers. She's asking us to help her celebrate her birthday by bringing along some (calorie-free ) chocolate on our cards, chocolate images, cocoa, Chocolate Chip paperÂ…anything representing chocolateÂ…the more chocolate; the better!
I brought along a whole chocolate shop, and tried to give my card a chocolate-box look with some ribbon.
Rubber Romance Chocolaterie stamped on watercolour paper with Versafine Black and coloured with Polychromos pencils and distress inks: peacock feathers, mowed lawn, fired brick, antique linen. I used green Flower Soft and some liquid pearls on the tree, trying to make it look like wisteria, which we see a lot of in Paris!
Other finishing touches - gold pen, gold ribbon, and an embossed panel.
You can bring your chocolate along to the party by using the keyword in the SCS galleries, or linking on the blog. Happy Birthday, Vicky!!

Well, before I read your commentary I thought to myself, "that looks just like the lid of a box of chocolates". So I think your goal was achieved! What a lovely birthday card. I love your colouring on your scene and the embossing. The ribbon looks splendid too. Just a great card!
