HI there everybody! Hope you are having a wonderful Tuesday! I wanted to share my card for this week's Timeless Tuesday Challenge over at Flourishes. You can read all the details about the challenge here. For today's card I used the lovely Cherry Blossoms set and for the sentiment the equally beautiful Botanical Bookplates set. I don't know if you noticed, but there is absolutely no coloring of this image....I know, totally not like me....but I was held to the rules of the challenge! LOL! Seriously though, I really liked this challenge because it made me get out of my comfort zone and I really like how it turned out. The blooms are stamped multiple times without reinking to achieve the faded look and the rest of the card is simple panels with a bit of stitching and scoring and of course...a bit of gold leafing. Anyways, you can see more details about my card on my blog. I hope you can swing by and play along with us this week. Thanks for taking a peek and have a great day!

LOL - no Copics, oh my - no need to wear the hat I gave you at our certification class if you can't 'fling' them Copics around! Nice job stepping outside your comfort zone there - glad they didn't restrict the use of that Midas touch . Love the layers and how the stamping fades on the flowers. That DP has such a nice homey/country feel. One beautiful job my friend!!!

Katie, I think anything you create is always my very favoritest -- until you create the next time (she smiles). From layout to finish, each element is placed with vision for the maximum affect. The result: beautiful artwork.
