First - TLC470 Serendipity
Second - CAS261 Color My World
Third - MMTPT291 New York City
For the first challenge, Sabrina gave us such a fun technique. I have to admit at first I thought "no way", but I love the look. You can see her tutorial here:
Second, Jen asked us to color our world by creating a CAS card in color. I do not have color cs stiff enough to use for the entire card, so I just used it for the entire bg panel. Hope the challenge police don't come calling for me - LOL.
Third, for today's Teapotter's challenge we are visiting New York City. I immediately thought of the NYC Ballet.
Thanks so much for taking a closer look - sure hope you like it

Gorgeous card for all challenges, Barb. Your satin en pointe slippers truly shine as the fabric would IRL. Wonderful curvy panel with Sabrina's technique.

Very pretty. Great bg ef, and I love the cut of the side panel, great pieced design. I love the oval die cut framing, and the ballet slippers have the sheen, that real satin would have. This is a gorgeous card. tfs.

, I'm glad your initial "no way" turned into liking it. The same has happened for me with some "no way" things - but I have to confess that some get tagged "never again" after one try. I love the results. I love the little bits of script and flowers on the serendipity panel, and also love your colour scheme.
I've still got my thinking cap on when it comes to NYC since I've never been there, and I'd rather do something more interesting than a big apple, LOL!

I'll meet you at the Ballet! I still have my toe shoes.....not that I could ever get into them again!!! LOL! Your card is beautiful, and appropriate for all three challenges.
