This is a Valentine's Day card that I gave to my 10 yo daughter. I really love how Valentine's Day has evolved to also telling those nearest and dearest how much you love them. My DD gave me a card too along with some flowers - and we made heart-shaped biscuits (cookies) together and iced them with pink icing and added sprinkles. A lovely day shared together: treasured times :-)
My DD adores Tatty Teddy which is why I chose this particular image for my card. The card was made using a Paper Tole Card Kit from Docrafts (called Decoupage if you are in the UK) - from their 'Me to You' Tatty Teddy 'With Love' range and this kit includes the cardstock, image, sentiment and designer paper - the only thing I added were the red glitter hearts either side of the sentiment.
The photo shows that the card front is cut around the image and the designer paper is attached to the card inside.
It is a little hard to see the layers on Tatty Teddy from the photo - there are about 5 or 6 in total (I have a close-up of the dimension on my blog post - see below). The layers came already diecut so it was super-easy to just pop them out and trim off any daggy bits and put them together with dimensionals.
The sentiment is up on dimensionals and the red glitter hearts are stickers which I bought from my local Arts and Craft shop.
