This is the 3rd round to the Design Team challenge. The entries have been so fantastic and creative I can't believe I got this far! Each entrant is an artist without a doubt. When you break it down this card is basically very simple to create. The double stamping eliminates stamping and colouring and the sponging eliminates matting and mounting. Firstly I stamped my tulip using pixie pink, passion pink, artichoke and wasabi then masked around it on three sides and sponged with Sahara sand. For the forth side I tore a piece of paper and sponged outwardly to create a faux torn edge. As an afterthought I ripped the open edge of the card to finish the torn look.

Tulips are my favorite flower and I love this single one. Your sponging and torn edges look great. Very pretty!

When I first saw this I thought it was multi layered! What amazing sponging! The tulip is stamped so beautifully. That ribbon is the perfect finishing touch. A truly splendid card!

So soft and pretty. I too thought it was multi layered, until I read your description and then took a closer look. So so clever. I love your ribbon! Good Luck!!
