Becky gave us some beautiful colors today. Along with the beautiful spring colors she asked us to use flowers. It doesn't get any better than that! I painted my flowers with acrylic paint....loading my brush with one side with the paint, and the other with the reinkers. After it was dry I doodled around the pink flowers with my white sharpie poster pen. Scored and embossed around the sentiment. tfl

Ooh Linda, the flowers you've painted are springtime wonderful. Beautiful work! The challenge colors were just perfect for them weren't they? I saw some little daffodil's poking up their leaves the other day. We'll all be so grateful for spring this year. Until then, your card today is a reminder of the beauty of that season.

I love the yellow bg, and the beautiful look you achieved with the white pen around the gorgeous painted flowers!!

Gorgeous Linda. Your painting is just amazing ... and the way you do it sounds similar to Donna Dewberry's one-step painting. I love tole painting and used to do it a few years ago ... never thought to do it on cards.

What an amazing talent you have Linda. Those flowers are just beautiful. If I could paint like that I would have no need for a rubber stamp! Beautifully done.
