I hope this qualifies as 'puppy love' for the first Love Fest challenge. This cute little stamp was a lovely gift from Gabby (Gabalot), hence my title - Gabby Bear. We don't have bears in Australia, so I have never seen one in real life, I hope the colours are ok.
I coloured little Gabby with TH Distress inks - Rusty Hinge and Gathered Twigs. The flowers and some parts of Gabby have a little bit of Zig brush work. The mushroom was stamped ages ago and was in my stash. I think it is by Stampotique, but I am not 100% sure.
I used an MFT chicken wire stencil over the Prima tag and added various off cut die scraps. The black/white behind Gabby is a torn piece of Glitz dp. I curled the outer edges then added distress ink so it would have the optical illusion of cutting a piece of card out. Does that make sense?
The flowers are very roughly cut circles then cutting round and around.
Thank you for looking at my tag, I had heaps of fun joining in the challenge.

Oh my goodness, Susie, this is precious!! I love all of the hexagonal "honeycomb" elements. Your die cut & rolled flowers are a "honey" of a design...and BTW, your coloring of Gabby is spot on. Thanks for inspiring us yet again...and hugz from New Jersey! (wish that I could send you 30-40 cm of the snow we have on the ground)

Fabby Gabby tag, Susie!! (I <3) Fred Bear, I have most of them). He looks cute sheltering under his toadstool shade! Great use of all your spare bits of diecuts, too.
I'm going to pop you into the Tags gallery as this is such a super artsy tag.

Oh my gosh, Susie, this is amazing! Once again the details and embellishments are fabulous! Your bear is colored perfectly and I LOVE the chicken wire with the chicken wire in the space that appears open! What a fantastic effect!

Adorable tag, Susie! You did great with Fred Bear (I think "h" can be used unisex--hee!) Love the stenciled bkgrd and all the design details. You have such a talent of putting together stamps, colors, patterns, textures. I'll have to take a peek at the LoveFest challenges.

Terrific tag, Susie! I love Gabby Bear (smiling). Always tons of interest with your very clever cards and "tags." A wonderful way to start off Love Fest!
