I had this pretty card by Audrie girlgeek101 in my favorites, and today's sketch from Janette looked perfect for the Triple Stamping technique (tutorial here), so I threw my two ideas together. I used the color scheme from Audrie's beauty. I cut my 2, 3 and 4" squares and layered them together using a temporary glue dot to hold each in place. I stamped my image 3 times using Versamark then embossed with clear ep (Note-remove the glue dots before embossing as the heat makes them STICK!). I then colored my images using markers and instead of a gel pen for the white, I used my Stampin' Chalk Marker. I sponged each layer then backed them with the Soft Suede framing (each layer is 1/8" larger than the colored piece). My base is 4 1/2" square and was also sponged along the edges. I didn't leave myself enough room for my sentiment (Note: stamp the sentiment first if you want it in your inner square!) so I stamped it in Chocolate Chip and punched it out sponging the edges with Suede and Chocolate. I popped the right edge of this over the next layer and then added my thread bow with a glue dot. This covers up the ellipse at the end of the sentiment since I wasn't stamping the 2nd part of the sentiment and wanted to cover it up. I think these colors would work well with just leaves and berries for a nice guy sympathy card.

When I saw the sketch, I immediately thought it would be prefect for the triple stamping technique. I worked beautifully for you. I love the white chalk on the brown stamping. All perfect against the craft background.
