Mary gave us a wonderful combination of colors for todayÂ’s Color Challenge:
Calypso Coral
Pacific Point
Smoky Slate
Soft Sky
Summer Starfruit
Neutrals: white or Smoky Slate
Dessert: a nautically themed card.
Mary asked that we use at least three of her listed colors. I used them all to create this masculine card that is ear-marked as a FatherÂ’s Day card for a dear friend who spends his winters on the Gulf in Florida and summers on the shores of Lake Michigan. Mary was correctÂ…Â… these colors worked beautifully for a nautical and masculine card.

Great image choice - both for this color combination and for your intended recipients. Love the subtle distressing & twine...just enough to add interest but not take over the message. Beautifully done, Sallie!

So many things struck me about your awesome card! I love the wonderful white caps in your water as well as that fabulous background! Your coloring is always outstanding, Sallie!

This is such a beautiful scene Sallie!! I love the pretty blue vast sky. It goes on indefinitely and causes a sense of freedom just as the sea does. I like the out of the box images on your main panel. The bg panel is wonderful, and I like the slight distressing. Great job with all of the challenge colors today.
