I had bought this new sentiment stamp last week. I thought it would look cool on a mixed-media page. I saw this on Pinterest and tried to create it following her instructions.
I made a larger version and this smaller one which my new stamp was actually perfect for......details...
I had a scrap of gessoed book page already doodled on the edges that I decided to use for my colored circles. Instead of a brush, I used my finger to do the coloring using acrylic paints. I am really into a lot of color this week. hehe
After the circles dried I used a lid putting black paint on it and stamping the open circles over the painted ones.
The sentiment was stamped on white cs, cut out, ran a red sharpie on the edges then versa marked and clear ep it.
Put this on another scrap of already painted cs not putting the tape close to the edge so that it would tend to roll up for a little added dimension.
Then put this on a craft card placing it at a slight angle....Done.
Well, I hope this qualifies as "coloring". Have a great evening all. We are finally getting some much needed rain. YAY!.....TFL :0)
