I'm a week late for the Teapotter Tickle. What can I say, the DH and I went on a vacation to the Southwest, renting a motorhome and going to a couple of places that are beautiful! We didn't see any lighthouses, but we did see some beautiful sunrises and one gorgeous sunset. The desert southwest has some of the best sunsets. Plus, I got to see my Mom and Aunt, an added benefit to visiting the area we did!
Last weeks theme was lighthouses. We were also supposed to add a verse or words of encouragement. I think Hope fits that bill, as does the sun setting (the sun sets on the west coast where I am) behind the lighthouse that sits on an outcropping of rocks, backed by a stormy sky.
This Tickle card is on it's way to an area that has been hard hit by winter's wrath. Not that I want the wrath of winter to come down upon California, but we sure could use some of that white stuff. Traveling through California wasn't as nice, what with the drought the state is experiencing. The hills that should be green or snow covered were brown. In the Central Valley, at least the trees were starting to bloom with pretty pink and white blossoms.

Wow - your sun rays are just gorgeous, Jennifer. What a wonderful collection of scraps you have! The splash of the white waves at the foot of the lighthouse is lovely too.
Even here we've heard about the CA drought. I wish I could send you some of our rain.

Sounds like you had a wonderful trip and a most enjoyable time, Jennifer. Love how you created the setting sun on your card and the lighthouse is beautifully done. Love the "spark" of the white on the crests of the breaking waves. Truly a STUNNING card.

What a gorgeous sunrise (or sunset?).
I hope you enjoyed the motor home as much as we enjoy ours. Wonder if you were near us - Casa Grande AZ. Stop by next time - our house even as rv parking!

Love the sunrise you made and hope is a good one and looks great with the lighthouse. Great card. Have an aunt who lives out there and says they really need rain so bad. Glad you had a good vacation.

What a cool idea to rent a motor home and go off to visit beautiful places (and family). I LOVE your sun rays and the whole theme of your card. The sun is really always there..it is just sometimes covered up! Beautifully designed card..
