For the Creative Crew challenge to use one of our punches to make a window card, I decided to go with the Artisan Label punch. I was hoping to come up with something a little different than a standard square or circle punch. Looking at the punch shape reminded me of the old scale we used to have (pre digital scales).
I used one of the spinner hands I got off the clearance rack and attached it to a separate piece of whisper white under the main piece and hand wrote the weights and lines. I attached a piece of acetate to the back of the top piece (I've managed to use acetate in all four of the challenges this month).
In retrospect, it's a little stark. If I make this card again, I will probably make the card base and ink color for the sentiment something more colorful like Island Indigo. But I have a couple of friends who have been dieting successfully and I think they would appreciate the sentiment.

What a sweet way to acknowledge the accomplishments of your friends. They will not think the card is stark, they will think you are a wonderful friend.
