This week is Tickle a TeaPotter and we are to bring a Lighthouse and share a story with our card. If you would like to join us, see the details HERE
I actually have a T-shirt with this very same picture that I have had for years, and got this image from a friend who heard I loved lighthouses. )Thanks, Karen!)
Colored the image with copics and added some crystal effects on the lighthouse, seagulls and waves, then added a seagull charm, tied onto the twine I wrapped around the top of the card.
My story/memory is one of how we spent our last vacation before my DH passed away. We drove up into Maine and New Hampshire, and spent most of our week there going to one lighthouse after another, taking photographs, and drinking in the beautiful scenery along the coast of Maine. This is a memory I cherish, and relive every time I see a picture of a lighthouse!
Thanks for a great Tickle challenge this week, and thanks for looking!

I've added this to my favorites, both because it is such a beautiful card & because I love the beautiful memories that come with it. Love the little seagull charm.

What a lovely and moving lighthouse memory to share, Sue.
This has gone straight into my favourites too. The dimension you've added to the lighthouse with the Glossy Accents brings it to life so much, and the twine and seabird charm are lovely additions.

If I don't have this stamp, I've seen it and I'm thinking that is all one image? You have managed to make it look 3D! This is as beautiful as your memories you cherish!

Sue, this is soooo pretty! I was eagerly awaiting your card because surely this challenge was made for you! Your charm is perfect, love the glossy accents (everyone loves a shiny light house), and the sea you made is wonderful. A card to treasure for sure. I see your heart all over this one too. Hugz - x a billion back!

I find D. Morgan lighthouse stamps very inspirational. The sentiments on them leave me with the same sense of well being as scripture. Thanks for sharing your beautiful card and memories.
