These are samples of 3 different techniques. The first on the left was colored with Distress Markers after I had dry embossed the stencil onto vellum. I colored on the backside of the vellum. The middle sample shows the stencil dry embossed onto vellum and then I took a stylus and "scratched" on the backside of the vellum using a rubber mat underneath the vellum. The 3rd sample to the right was done with dry embossing the stencil onto card stock and then placing the stencil back over the embossed area & securing with washi tape. I then used Distress Inks on a sponge dauber to push color through the various stencil openings.
