Our teaparty this week is for John and Lisa from Milford, NJ, following the very sad loss of their daughter, Leanne. We were asked to make sympathy cards. I have also combined this with this week's Technique Challenge - Watercolouring on Kraft & Colour Challenge - I used Pear Pizzazz instead of Wild Wasabi & Regal Rose instead of Blushing Bride and did not do the dessert option.
I had started this card earlier in the week - in time for the teaparty - but have not been able to get back to finish it until this afternoon! I will put this in the mail to Milford today and hope it, along with all the other teapotters cards, can bring some comfort to Lisa and John.
TFL!

Oh-my-goodness Sue...this is so beautiful! (I actually said IloveitIloveitIloveit! when I opened the thumbnail) I love to combine the challenges too (time is short...) and you have nailed each of them. I love how your colored-on-kraft image turned out - your image choice is perfect for white embossing. That you colored only the centres of the flowers makes the effect more stunning. Your DP and lovely bow are the perfect supporting elements too. Beautifully done!!! John & Lisa will love this...thank you so much for coming to their Teaparty. I just made a fresh batch of those angel cookies...make sure to get some! Bug hugz from New Jersey, my friend!

Your card is a masterpiece in the watercoloring on Kraft CS - I love that you embossed the BG layer and added the bow - hope it brings peace to Leanne's family!
