This card is for today's Featured Stamper, Garden Diva, aka Tina. I loved wandering through Tina's gallery, but was also looking for a way to feature a small image on a card. She had several great cards that fit the bill, but I especially liked this one.
I changed the color scheme, the DS paper, the central image, used white for my base card, slightly changed the location of the central image, different ribbon.
I'm making a bunch of cards for Operation Write Home, and this "Missing You" card will be perfect.

I commend you on your support of Operation Write Home. My husband is retired from 21 years active duty in the Air Force. 6 of those years we were overseas. He then gave 20 years to Defense Logistics. I gave 25 years to the DoD working for many branches of the military as we moved. After almost 47 years of marriage and being around the military all of my adult life I know how important it is for the warfighters to have access to writing materials. It's a small intimate link to home. They can take 5 minutes and forget the mission and remember who they are doing their job for... their family and country. I'm pleased that a card in my gallery was inspiration for one of these very important cards.
Thanks for playing today. God Bless the USA and it's warfighters!!!
