Well, I made this card for a bunch of challenges. I started with today's Color Challenge, Costal Tempting Cantaloup but also used yesterday's CAS challenge sketch. My images were chosen for today's Tea Pot Challenge and while I am not sure if it qualifies for yesterday's TLC, I folded and then handstitched the ruffled ribbon to make a tutu for the hippo. This card will go out to little Jasmine Garcia and hopefully brighten her day a bit (See destination station information from the Teapot challenge.)
While I think I would ordinarily have found these colors very challenging, they worked really well for a kid's card and I always love the Fun Pun set for images that work for kids. I colored my hippo with my copic markers and had fun blending different colors to get the shade I wanted.
The heart on top of the cupcakes comes from a very old corner punch that I purchased from SU! years and years ago.

Wonderful job combining the challenges and I agree, the colors are perfect for a child's card! Your delightful hippo with his orange tutu is just so cute! Love the sparkly cupcakes and sentiment! I think Jasmine will love this cheery, fun card! TFS!

Oh, well done you on the tutu!! I tried two too many times, with both organza ribbon and ruffled lace and gave up, but you've got just what I'd hoped to achieve. Perfect colours for a card to cheer a little girl!

this is adorable. I was amazed at the first card in this challenge actually having a stamp of a baby hippo and I see you have the same stamp, 2 in a row, what are the odds.

Kathy I think she is the sweetest hippo I have EVER seen. Her little tutu is precious, I love everything about this wonderful card, you sure combined the challenges brilliantly. Little Jasmine's hospital room is going to look incredible.
