I was thrilled to see these two challenges. In fact, I think they are my only technique! Maybe I could post to them all year long. Thanks for getting me motivated again. This card was done for my son's birthday. As an avid hunter he has not had much luck this year. The deer was colored with copics and enhanced with pencil. This image was a little fussy to color but so fun. Eyelets were added and strung with twine. Thanks for looking!

Oh my goodness, Nancy - this is stunning! And I rarely say that about a masculine card! I love the way you coloured this majestic, beautiful image, keeping it's natural qualities - also the little details such as the gun, the stitching, the twine and the eyelets - it all adds up to very special!!!

OMG! Such a beautiful card. I had to look twice to see how you colored the deer. It is amazing. The muted colors, layout and all the added details all work so well together. I love it. Happy birthday to your son.

Fantastic coloring on this deer! WOW! I love the layout and the addition of the decorative stitching on top right is great..balances out the eyelet details. What a super card for your son!
