To-day's challenge was to do some sort of sewing on your card. I have been wanting to make one of those pyramid cards that are all over Pinterest right now so here it is! The flower is from Tim Holtz' tattered poinsettia and sponged with lipstick distress ink. The leaves are a very old die from sizzix..probably one of the first dies I ever bought and the birthday banner is hand made. I bunched up some DMC silver thread to make the bow in the background. I didn't realize just how hard it is to sew paper on a sewing machine! It keeps sliding around as you can see by my straight lines! LOL I think I will be making more of this type of card 'cause I really like them.

Oh Wow! I haven't seen this type of card before but I truly am challenged when there are lots of folds! Just gorgeous and love your bloom and the silver cording with it!
Stitching on machine, thanks for the chuckle. I found if you use dotto temporary adhesive it is machine friendly and won't goo up your machine. But your description of what happened is why I choose hand work.
