For this week's circle flower technique challenge. We were given permission to use the hexagon punch for the flower, and, given the math candy of a hexagon, I went that route. You know - score corner to corner leaves a 60 degree angle and that means exactly (!?) six petals (360 degrees divided by 60 is 6). tmi
The large flower fits very nicely into last week's sketch.

I think most of us did six petals instead of 7! I love your hexie flower...wish I had gone that route...I would have forgotten the math though...not great at math!

First of all, thanks for the sentiment, Brenda, I needed that hug today! Second, I home schooled my boys for 16 years, and after reading your math info. I felt like I was back in the classroom! Your flower done this way looks incredible! I love the additional snowflakes.....lovely card~

Grins - I went the hexagon route first - much easier to fold but didn't like it as well as the one I made with circles. Clever you to combine with six-pointed snowflakes.
