I chose to honor Susie Australia with this step card – my first ever step card. I love Susie’s amazing scene step cards. Susie is so talented and I love to read her funny stories about the trials and tribulations of creating her wonderful cards. I couldn’t find the tutorial/layout Susie used in this gorgeous card MMTPT282 - Merry Christmas Anita by susie australia at Splitcoaststampers, so went with a different center step layout. After I had the foundation for the card all cut out, I questioned the wisdom of this idea. I stared at the base hoping it would create itself, but when that failed, I went to do my exercises: thought I might be able to think better if I got some blood flow to my brain. It worked - I remembered my newest die, whimsical tree, and the rest was easy. My card doesn’t have the exquisite detail seen in Susie’s cards, but it feels like a good first attempt. And …. I didn’t suffer any injuries!

Right when I clicked onto this red and white beauty, I knew you'd cased one of Susie's cards, Priscilla! Exercise does the body good for so many reasons, and one of them is relieving stress! Good for you to come back and realize what to do! Love all of your bling and those pretty dies of course~

Susie has such intricate cards and you certainly have duplicated that style, Priscilla. Love your card with the unique format and the red/white color scheme.

Your first step card to honor Susie turned out way better than mine did when she was Queen!! This is gorgeous! Funny story about excercising - I'll have to remember that when I'm brain dead for ideas!!
