I took some supplies along with me to a swim meet the other day and didn't have any stamps. I decided to free hand some Christmas tags. I outlined my shapes, filled in with the brush end then went back and added detail and some silver accents back in. I like the look of the stitching on the top note die which this punch always reminds me of, so I added faux stitching along the edges. I had another swim meet to attend tonight so I made a few more.

Gail, you don't need stamps when you can draw this well! These tags are so pretty with your emblematic symbols of Christmas/winter on the Kraft. The faux stitching adds a country touch.

Great drawing Gail!! I love the look of kraft with Christmas colors and the touches of white for the snow really shows off against the brown. And your added "hand" stitching is perfect!

Those are lovely, Gail! I didn't comment when I saw them late last night, because I was only peeping on my phone when I was up with a headache in the night, but I was so happy to see them as I'd just been thinking of you. The kraft is a great choice with the Christmas colours. The pine-bough one is my favourite. Sounds as if you really redeemed the time at the swim meet .
